September 2026: 'Something Familiar' by Frank Gaglione
Photography is a meditative practice for me—a way of slowing down and becoming
fully present. When I photograph, I enter a state of focused observation, allowing
moments and details that might otherwise go unnoticed to reveal themselves.
I’m interested in finding stories within the ordinary. Rather than searching for a specific
subject, I let curiosity and attention guide me. Through this process, familiar places can
become unfamiliar, and familiar moments can take on new meaning. These
photographs explore the space between what is seen and what stories can be
imagined.
