Author Reading w/ Martha Conway
Martha Conway will be reading from her latest novel, a work of historic fiction, The Physicians Daughter.
Set to the backdrop of a Post-Civil War America reeling in the aftermath of the most bloody conflict of the 19th century, The Physician's Daughter is the story of two people trying to make their way in a world that is struggling to escape its past. When heavy societal expectations rule the day, and love begins to compete with ambition, sparks are certain to fly.
Born in Ohio but currently a resident of San Francisco, Martha Conway is the author of several novels including The Underground River, which was a New York Times Book Editor’s Choice (titled The Floating Theatre in the U.K. and Europe).
