Storytime w/ Jon Agee

A very special morning with SF's own beloved, bestselling children's book author and illustrator reading from his latest book My Dad Is a Tree as well as other favorites.

Jon Agee is the author and illustrator of many books for children, including It's Only Stanley, The Wall In the Middle of the Book, Milo's Hat Trick, and The Incredible Painting of Felix Clousseau, along with a series of popular wordplay books, among them, Go Hang a Salami! I'm a Lasagna Hog! and Otto.

He grew up along the Hudson River in Nyack, New York, and went to college at The Cooper Union School of Art in New York City, where he studied painting and filmmaking. He visits schools across the country and sometimes around the globe, but currently lives in San Francisco with his wife, Audrey.

In My Dad Is a Tree, a dad and daughter take pretending to an adorable extreme. Agee’s latest offering is a silly and sweet picture book that will inspire all kinds of imaginative play, and acts as a tribute to parents who will do just about anything for their kids.
