Rainbow Parenting is an essential guide for parents and caregivers to raising queer-friendly children in a gender-affirming space. The book features resources for parents of children of a range of ages, leading readers through practical applications, important LGBTQ+ history, key lessons in intersectionality, pronouns, social justice, and more.
Lindz Amer makes queer-centric media for kids, families, educators, their loved ones, and allies. They are the creator of family web-series Queer Kid Stuff, the author of Rainbow Parenting: Raising Queer Kids and Their Allies, and host of the Rainbow Parenting podcast. Their debut picture book, “Hooray for She, He, Ze, and They!” is slated for publication with Simon & Schuster in fall 2024. Currently, they perform at schools and libraries across the country, while writing and consulting for children’s television.
